Hi peeps! Spring is finally here. The weather starts to get warmer, and flowers starts to bloom again! But I decided to hit you guys with a throwback post, my journey to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. Both tourist attraction are located in the state of Arizona, a 4 hours drive from Las Vegas, Nevada. I've been wanting to come here since last year; both friends and family has said that both places are so beautiful that it's worth a visit. So just before the start of my school's spring semester, I planned a trip here with a couple of friends. We flew to Las Vegas and booked a day tour from a tour company called Take Tours. (click here to open Take Tours' site). The tour only costs us US$118 (entrance ticket to antelope canyon included, horseshoe bend is free of charge!) not including tour guide tips.
The tour departs at around 6 am in the morning and drove all the way to our first destination for four hours. We arrived at antelope canyon first and was taken by a jeep to the location. We are also assigned a local tour guide to assist us during our visit inside the canyon.

The canyon tour lasted for 1-2 hours. I went there during the winter when the temperature is still around 11-15 degree Celsius. My advice is to wear something warm and comfortable (most importantly shoes) because it can get chilly out there. After the canyon, we head to out next location which is 30 minutes away from the canyon. For horseshoe bend, it involves a lot of walking! From the parking spot to the bend is a 10 minutes walk, so be prepared to walk a distance. But I must say, horseshoe bend is absolutely stunning!

This sums up my trip to Arizona. I hope this post is helpful and can be an inspiration to all of you readers out there. This place is a must visit 10 out of 10. If you are a travelers that likes nature and scenery, this will be a perfect destination for you. Thank you for reading and see you next time!
xx, Theresa
